3G Shutdown

Dear Customer,

Thank you for your email.

M2M One issued a letter from Telstra recently that 3G services will no longer be able to connect after August 31st.

We have received a large volume of queries regarding impacted services and what the next steps are.

I have attached a list of services that Telstra identified as having made 3G Connections recently, but this does not necessarily mean your hardware is 3G Only.

In this list you will find:
  1. Any affected SIM Card Numbers
  2. Models and Makes of Devices
  3. Last Used Location
  4. Last used network
Please refer to the "recommended_action" column in the attached spreadsheet for steps to be taken with your hardware supplier.

Please be aware of the following information:
  1. M2M One has confirmed that all of our Telstra SIM cards are 4G capable. There will be no upgrades required on your SIM to support 4G Data.
  2. SIM cards installed in 3G/4G devices still may connect on 3G until August 31st but will move over to 4G after the closure date.
