Thank you for your email.
M2M One issued a letter from Telstra recently that 3G services will no longer be able to connect after August 31st.
We have received a large volume of queries regarding impacted services and what the next steps are.
I have attached a list of services that Telstra identified as
having made 3G Connections recently, but this does not necessarily mean
your hardware is 3G Only.
In this list you will find:
- Any affected SIM Card Numbers
- Models and Makes of Devices
- Last Used Location
- Last used network
Please refer to the "recommended_action" column in the attached spreadsheet for steps to be taken with your hardware supplier.
Please be aware of the following information:
- M2M One has confirmed that all of our Telstra SIM cards are 4G capable. There will be no upgrades required on your SIM to support 4G Data.
- SIM cards installed in 3G/4G devices still may connect on 3G until August 31st but will move over to 4G after the closure date.
